If you have found some old negatives we can scan them for you. There are two main methods we use for scanning negatives; standard ‘carrier mounted’ scanning & ‘wetmount’ where the negatives are scanned suspended in a special fluid held in between a sheet of anti-reflective glass & optically clear acetate. This holds the negative perfectly flat at the optimum focal plane whilst the fluid prevents any newton rings from appearing.
