Description
Kodak Super Slow (5254)
This hand-rolled film has been cut down from a fresh batch of Kodaks motion picture film. It will be sent in a re-used film canister. Please note that there may not be a DX code.
This is the slowest film we’ve ever used at approximately ISO 1.6. Of course, as a digital intermediate film, it’s not designed to be used in a camera at all, but to output digital video footage using a specialist laser printer.
But seeing as it’s available, why not give it a go? Because it’s so slow, you can shoot under bright studio lighting and still keep your aperture wide open. Or get those really long exposures with funky motion trails.
As this is a motion picture digital intermediate film that is being repurposed as photographic film, there is a Remjet layer which needs to be removed during processing. Therefore it cannot be sent to a standard highstreet lab for C-41 processing. BonsaiMad offer a Remjet removal & C-41 process.
