So you’ve tried shooting a roll of 35mm cine film & now you need to get it processed. Most highstreet labs will not accept the film if it still has a Rem-jet layer, as their automated machines can’t remove the rem-jet backing. This ends up contaminating the developing chemistry with lumpy carbon blotches.

We can offer our normal hand C-41 process with a Rem-jet removal stage before the developer. This involves soaking the film in a special solution to soften the coating.

Each roll of film is then developed in our darkroom using our temperature-controlled processing equipment.

Keep in mind that these films are designed to be processed using ECN-2 chemistry, so this is a cross-process. There may be some colour shifts (although this is usually minimal and can be adjusted in post-processing).
